Privacy policy

The controller of personal data is The CMO.lu S.à r.l.-S, publisher of the qualité-eau.lu website. For any question regarding your data, you may write to contact@qualite-eau.lu. The publisher's full contact details are set out in the legal notice.

qualité-eau.lu only collects the data you voluntarily provide through the quote or contact forms:

• Name (or first name)
• Email address
• Phone number
• Municipality and installation address
• Stated need (answers to the diagnostic quiz, type of project)

No account is required to browse the Site. Audience measurement is carried out via Google Analytics 4 (GA4), deployed through Google Tag Manager. This tracker sets cookies and is only activated with your consent (see the “Cookies” section below).

The contact details you submit are collected in order to connect you with one or more commercial partners (notably adoucisseur-eau.lu and osmoseur.lu) and/or to get back to you regarding your request. qualité-eau.lu acts as a connecting intermediary; the terms are specified in our general terms of use.

The processing is based on your explicit consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), obtained when the form is submitted. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Your contact details are passed on to the commercial partners of qualité-eau.lu for the sole purpose of the connection described above. No data is resold to non-partner third parties, nor used for marketing purposes unrelated to your request.

Your data is kept for a reasonable period, not exceeding the time necessary for the purpose pursued (at most 36 months after the last contact). Beyond that, it is deleted or anonymised. You may request its deletion at any time.

Non-essential trackers are only set after your consent, obtained via our cookie banner (changeable at any time via “Manage cookies” at the bottom of the page):

• Audience measurement — Google Analytics 4 (GA4): _ga cookies, to understand use of the Site. Data processed by Google LLC, with transfer to the United States framed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Consent Mode v2 keeps these trackers disabled by default until you accept.
• Video assistant — Answerly: third-party video-chat service, loaded only if you accept it; it may set cookies.

Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the Site do not require consent. You may withdraw or change your choice at any time.

The Publisher implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Exchanges with the Site are encrypted (HTTPS).

In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability regarding your data. To exercise these rights, contact contact@qualite-eau.lu or use the contact page.

You may lodge a complaint with Luxembourg's National Commission for Data Protection (Commission nationale pour la protection des données, CNPD): cnpd.public.lu.
